The slope

Not a game. Not a simulation.

A 7 × 10 metre belt with a snow-like surface that runs continuously and tilts to the gradient you need. You wear real skis or a real board and use exactly the technique you would use on a mountain — the slope simply comes to you. You practise stopping, turning and balance without ever riding a lift.

No lift, no queue

The hour you book is an hour on the slope

Speed and gradient set to you

Beginners and children always start slow and shallow. The belt stops instantly.

The same technique as real snow

Who it's for

First time, or fine-tuning

Never tried before

Most of our customers start from zero, and there is no upper age limit. In the first hour a coach takes you through the gear, falling and getting up, balance, then sliding and the snowplough stop. Most people are sliding for real inside that first hour.

Children from age 4

We carry children's gear in every size. Children start at low speed on a shallow gradient, with a handrail in front of them and a coach at their side throughout. Parents can join the lane or watch from beside it.

Getting ready for a snow trip

Learning before you fly means you don't lose the first day of the trip to falling over. If you have never skied, a 6-hour package or more is the sensible start; if you have skied before, one or two hours beforehand brings the feel back.

Already skiing

Our national-team coaches teach through parallel turns, short turns and the basics of carving. A continuous belt is ideal for repeating one movement until a fault is fixed. Tell us your level and your goal when you book.

Prices

You book a lane, not a seat

One lane takes up to four people at the same price, with one coach looking after that lane for the full hour. Everyone in a lane does the same discipline — all ski, or all snowboard. More than four people simply book the second lane; two lanes together take eight.

Curriculum

You always know which step you are on

The syllabus follows the international sequence, and your coach tells you the step you are on and the step after it every session. Most beginners clear steps 1–4 in their first hours, and many reach basic parallel turns in around 12 hours of coaching. Everyone learns at a different pace.

Ski · 10 steps

  1. Safety and equipment
  2. Falling, getting up, moving
  3. Snowplough stop
  4. Snowplough turn
  5. Hockey stop
  6. Basic christy
  7. Stem christy
  8. Basic parallel
  9. Parallel short turn
  10. Introduction to carving

Snowboard · 7 steps

  1. Stance, strapping in, falling and rising
  2. Balance and straight glide
  3. Heel and toe edge control, stopping
  4. Falling leaf
  5. Garland, linking the first turns
  6. Linked turns
  7. Advanced technique and carving

Ski is usually the easier start: balance comes sooner and you slide earlier. Snowboarding involves more falling at first, but progress is quick once the turns link — often at around 6 to 8 hours.

Arrive 15 minutes early

Change, get your boot size measured and collect your gear, so the whole booked hour is spent on the machine.

The hour on the slope

Your coach always starts with how to fall and get up safely, then balance on the small practice ramp, then the main belt at low speed, with a handrail in front of you and the coach at your side.

At the end

Your coach tells you which step you reached and what to work on next time.

FAQ

The questions we get most

I have never skied. Can I still come?

Yes. Most of our customers have never skied, and there is no upper age limit. In the first hour your coach covers the gear, how to fall and get up, balance on the small practice ramp, then the main belt at low speed with a handrail in front of you and the coach beside you. Most people are sliding for real within that first hour.

Is the price per person or per lane?

Per lane. One lane has one coach and takes up to four people, who take turns on the belt. More than four people book the second lane; two lanes take eight in total. Everyone in the same lane does the same discipline.

What is included in the price?

Everything, with nothing further to pay: a coach with your lane for the whole hour, skis or a snowboard, boots and poles, helmet and safety gear, accident insurance, and changing rooms with lockers.

How young can children start?

From age 4, as long as the child can stand steadily and follow simple instructions. We carry children's gear in every size, our coaches are experienced with small children, and lessons start slow and shallow with a handrail and a coach alongside. Parents can join the lane or watch from beside it.

What should I bring?

Dress as you would for the gym: a t-shirt, stretchy long trousers and socks above the ankle. The room is air-conditioned and there is no real snow, so no jacket or gloves are needed. All ski equipment is provided in every size.

Is it safe?

A coach is beside your lane for the whole hour, there is a handrail in front of you, and the belt stops instantly. Speed and gradient are set to the skier, everyone wears a helmet, and the belt surface is softer than hard-packed snow. Accident insurance is included, and the first thing a coach teaches is how to fall and get up properly.

How do I book, and do I need to book ahead?

Book yourself on the booking page: pick the date and time (sessions are one hour, starting on the hour from 09:00 to 20:00), ski or snowboard, and how many of you, then sign in with LINE and pay. You can also just message us on LINE and we will check the lane and book it for you. Same-day booking is fine when a lane is free; evenings and weekends are worth booking ahead.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Rescheduling is free with at least 48 hours' notice — message us on LINE and we will find you another time. With less than 48 hours' notice, or a no-show, the hour counts as used.

How many hours before I can ski on real snow?

Everyone learns at a different pace. Broadly: the first one or two hours give you sliding, stopping and basic turns; around six hours gives confident stopping and turning for easy runs; and by around twelve hours many people reach parallel turns. Those are common outcomes rather than a guarantee.

Do you have children's sizes and extra-large sizes?

We carry gear and boots from small children through to large adults. If you are concerned about weight, height or an unusually large or small boot size, tell us when you book and the team will have the right equipment ready.

Ready for your first hour?
